Matlock Christmas Lights 2024. On friday 25 th november matlock town council will host an event to officially switch on the town’s christmas lights and kick off the festive season. The official switch on of the town’s christmas lights will be on friday the 24th of november at around 6:45pm.
Earlier this year matlock town council put out an appeal for sponsors for the town’s christmas lights. The event involved the switch on of matlock’s christmas lights by the mayor of the town, cllr steve wain, along with performances of christmas carols and songs by matlock band,.
